As told by Nick:
"Abby’s parents planned a trip to San Antonio, TX from their home in Houston under the pretense of visiting for Father’s Day 2017. I suggested that we take them to our favorite winery, Kuhlman Celars, for a day of wine tasting and relaxing. Abby booked the tour. Had I suggested we go out to a fancy restaurant of my choosing, she would have been immediately suspicious, as she is the foodie in our relationship! So yes, she booked her own engagement venue! After a wine tasting, we prepared our own food to have another bottle of wine with her family.
At this time, I asked her, “Hey Abby, do you want to go look at the grapes?” I think she thought something was wrong with me, but she went along with it. Once we made it to the vines, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She said yes! We were met by cheers from the winery as we walked back to our table. Abby couldn’t have been happier with the custom setting that Faini Designs helped me create! It was the perfect day for asking the woman I love to marry me."
