We are proud to announce that we at Faini Designs Jewelry Studio took home three coveted awards at this years NESD (Nebraska/South Dakota) Jewelers Association annual fall meeting. What a great feeling when you are judged by your peers that have years and years of expertise in the jewelry industry and take home that much hardware.
The 'Best of Show' special cut pear shaped ribbed honey citrine quartz was the show stopper. It will now advance to the National Level of competition to go up against the best. Faini Designs Jewelry Studio is the first and only known jewelry in South Dakota to win that national award several years with a special custom made diamond fashion ring.
It was extra special to see the design chosen by our Face Book fans earlier this year bring home First Place in Category 1. Three different designs were computer rendered at the studio by three different designers (one pendant and two rings.) The designs were put on Face Book for our loyal fans to make the final decision. As you can see -- They are WINNERS. The uniqueness of this ring was accentuated with the two special cut matching epaulet diamonds located on each side of the gorgeous faceted green tourmaline.
Our winner that gave us First Place in Category 3 solidified to us that Pink is IN! It was the combination of using pink gold for the main part of the pendant securely holding the pear shaped kunzite gemstone weighing over four carats and accented with the white gold bale top detailed with white diamonds. Don't wait too long to come into the studio to see this one. It may not be around long.
These awards will be added to the several dozen others Faini Designs Jewelry Studio has accumulated in the past competitions. We hope you will have the chance to see these before they go and the many other custom made pieces we have made to put in the showcases. We do a lot of custom work for individual clients, but do have the time to do things like this out of the ordinary and make them available to our guests visiting the studio.
Time to start brainstorming, dreaming, sketching and working on next year's winners!
