Round Brilliant – Note that there is a distinct difference between the terms - round brilliant cut diamond and a round cut diamond. The round brilliant cut is the modern version of a round diamond that has been cut with at least fifty eight facets with proper angles to display good scintillation and dispersion of color. The round cut diamond could be a single cut for example with only seventeen facets. The round brilliant cut diamond shape remains to be the most popular of all shapes. |

Princess – A square cut diamond that has refractive properties near to the round brilliant cut. The princess cut is the preferred square cut shape. |

Oval – An oval has a lot of similarities as the round brilliant, but has an elongated appearance. |

Marquise – A traditional cut that can display good brilliance and light dispersion. It can be deceiving to the eye by making it appear bigger in size with the pointed elongated look. |

Pear – Simply put, this cus is one half of an oval and the other half marquise. A very attractive cut when cut in good length to width proportions. |
